Introducing Emma Wang, ITASA's President! Emma is a 4th year student studying Linguistics with a Speech Language Sciences and Disorders emphasis and Chinese double major, as well as an Applied Psychology minor at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she'll graduate in 2026. Outside of her academic pursuits, Emma is a creative spirit who loves dancing, gardening, videography, and photography. She’s also skilled in diabolo, enjoys Chinese calligraphy, and is always up for some late-night conversations!
Emma’s favorite music jam is "HALA HALA" by ATEEZ, and her top Taiwanese snack is 大腸包小腸. Her most memorable travel experience took her to Thailand, and when it comes to movies, she’s a big fan of Frozen. Fun fact: Emma once had 20+ sea urchin spines in her leg!
