Each year, ITASA hosts three regional conferences on the East Coast, in the Midwest and on the West Coast.
Conference Bid Supplements
All schools are encouraged and welcome to bid to host the 2024 regional conferences. ITASA Outstanding Achievement Award
The ITASA Outstanding Achievement Award recognizes the best Taiwanese American student organization nationally. Any collegiate Taiwanese American student organization is eligible for nomination. The award is primarily based on overall quality of programs between January 2020 and January 2021 but also factors external (such as audience reached) and internal (such as leadership, membership, and creativity) development. Answer honestly – organizations will not necessarily be penalized for unsuccessful events but will be rewarded for consistent improvement.
ITASA Outstanding Leader Award
The ITASA Outstanding Leader Award recognizes an individual in recognition of outstanding leadership and contribution to the Taiwanese American student community. An individual, with or without current ITASA National Board or Board of Directors affiliation, is eligible for nomination. Any individual may submit a nomination.
ITASA Outstanding New TASA
The ITASA Outstanding New TASA Award recognizes a recently or newly established Taiwanese American student organization that shows achievement as well as great potential in its first years. Any collegiate Taiwanese American student organization newly established or re-established since January 2020 is eligible for nomination. Criteria include programming, leadership, and membership development. Answer honestly – organizations will not necessarily be penalized for unsuccessful events but will be rewarded for consistent improvement.
ITASA Outstanding Philanthropy Program Award
The ITASA Outstanding Philanthropy Program Award recognizes a service-related project or program by a Taiwanese American student organization that has positively impacted the community and promoted ITASA’s mission statement. Community service events sponsored or co-sponsored by a Taiwanese American student organization that took place between January 2020 to the present are eligible for nomination.
ITASA Outstanding Project/Program Award
The ITASA Outstanding Project/Program Award recognizes a project or program by a Taiwanese American student organization that has positively impacted the community and promoted ITASA’s mission statement. Any project or program sponsored or co-sponsored by a Taiwanese American student organization that took place between January 2020 to present is eligible for nomination.
