Hosted by ITASA
Pathfinder Taiwan
Each year, ITASA partners with the Taipei-based Eden Social Welfare Foundation to teach blind and visually imparied Taiwanese children English in a language immersion summer camp dubbed “Pathfinder” in Taiwan. ITASA’s role in finding qualified volunteer teachers for the summer program was initiated by former ITASA president Calvin Chen in 2004; the program has since been praised by Taiwan’s media and government.
