General Conference Information

The conference is scheduled for February 18-20, 2010 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Early registration: Ends January 7, 2010 - $35 *EXTENDED DEADLINE!*
Regular registration: Ends January 31, 2010 - $45
Late registration: After January 31, 2010 - $55

All checks should be made payable to ITASA 2010 East Coast Conference and mailed to the following address:

Electronic registration

This option is for individuals who wish to pay by credit card. Click on the first link above, then follow the instructions on the payment system. Thank you for your interest in the conference!

Mail-in registration

For individuals or groups who wish to register together and mail in one check, download and complete the spreadsheet from the second link above. Mail-in registrants MUST pay by check, mailed to the address above. Registration forms may be emailed to itasa2010-registration@mit.edu. Please note that your registration is not complete until your check has cleared.

Registration costs per person are as follows:

• Registration fee ($35, $45, or $55)
• OPTIONAL Cambridge Marriott Housing ($30/night)
• OPTIONAL Conference T-shirt ($10)

MIT Students

MIT students get a $10 discount on the registration fee. Register via the third link, then pay via TechCash or check at any of the following locations:

• Any ATS event over IAP or before the conference
• The ITASA booth over IAP (location to be determined)
• Mailed to SAO via interdepartmental mail

Hosts + Volunteers

Hosts and volunteers enjoy a number of benefits (link), so if you are in the area, we greatly encourage you to consider helping out at the conference! Register through one of the three links above, then fill out the volunteer interest form on the Volunteers page. Subsidies will be repaid in cash at the time of the conference.

Refund Policy

NOTE: A $2 processing fee will be withheld from all refund requests.

Before February 18, 2010: 30%

Housing Options

Cambridge Marriott | link

Only a 5 minute walk to most event venues and conveniently located across the street from the Kendall T stop! Its $30/night and you can specify preferred roommates (4 people per room). For detailed directions to the hotel, see here.

Student Hosting

Most MIT dorms are located on the opposite side of campus from our event venue so youll have to walk around 15 minutes in the cold in order to get to the conference. Student hosting is free, but there is limited space so this option is first come, first serve.

Other

Your own arrangement with friends in the area, etc.

MIT ITASA Van Service

If you give us your flight information ahead of time, we will pick you up from the airport for the cheap rate of $10/person and take you to the Marriott hotel (a taxi normally costs about $30, depending on traffic).

If you are interested in the van service, please indicate this option on the registration form and we will contact you later for your flight information.

Our exciting conference t-shirt is available for $10! Take home the design showing reflections of the Boston and Taiwanese skylines, displayed in HD, of course. See different views of the design below:
