What is ITASA?

The Intercollegiate Taiwanese American Students Association is a non-profit organization providing events and resources that explore and celebrate Taiwanese American identity in order to inspire, empower, and activate its community.

ITASA hosts three annual conferences, one each on the East and West Coasts and one in the Midwest to bring together the Taiwanese American communities in these regions for a weekend of connecting, learning, and having fun!

Why should I go to ITASA?

By attending the MIT ITASA Conference, you will not only have the opportunity to learn about Taiwanese culture, politics, and history, but you will also have the opportunity to meet and network with Taiwanese Americans from colleges in the East Coast. In addition to several exhilarating performances and wonderful guest speakers, we will have numerous social events, including, but not limited to an Afterparty in downtown Boston. Attending the ITASA conference will be an excellent chance to learn about your Taiwanese heritage and meet your future peers.
