ITASA Philanthropy Department Presents:
The 2nd Annual Footprints Project
The Footprints Project is an annual scholarship competition hosted by the Intercollegiate Taiwanese American Students Association (ITASA) to celebrate Taiwanese American heritage. The department invites Taiwanese American high school students across the United States to submit their reflections on being Taiwanese American or their experiences with the Taiwanese American community. Reflections can take the form of music, visual art, or video.
Note: the scholarship is NOT exclusive to Taiwanese Americans, and ANYONE can apply!
Each year, the Footprints committee chooses a special theme for the submissions. This year’s theme is:
“What is the one thing you love about Taiwan?”
We encourage students to combine their imagination with their love for Taiwan through their submissions. Entries will be judged according to relevance to the theme, originality and overall quality of the artwork. Be creative!
