Taiwan Tech Trek 2007 Deadline now!

National Science Council (NSC) is pleased to announce an exciting summer internship program, Taiwan Tech Trek 2007 (TTT 2007) for overseas Taiwanese/Taiwanese American youths interested in hands-on internship or research experiences in Taiwan. Opportunities will be available to intern at outstanding research institutes or learn state-of-the-art technology at Taiwan's famous science parks, national laboratories, and high-tech companies. The purpose of TTT 2007 is to raise Taiwan's overall competitiveness. Qualifications: * Overseas Taiwanese candidates must be of Taiwanese descent, have begun and completed junior high through high school in USA, or emigrated from Taiwan before the age of 12. * Candidates must be between ages 18 - 30 ( birthdate between 8/19/76 to 6/24/89) and be able to communicate in one of the following languages: English, Mandarin, or Taiwanese.
