The Formosa Foundation seeks to preserve the American values of democracy and human rights through broadened involvement of future leaders in the making of U.S. policy. |
| Taiwan Tech Trek | January 31 | TTT provides a unique opportunity for overseas and domestic Taiwanese youths to gain hands-on internship or research experiences. Summer internships are available all across Taiwan at top research institutes, high-tech companies, fine universities, and the world-famous science parks. |
| Taiwanese American Citizens League, Political Internship | Usually in April | Interns gain valuable, working knowledge through assignments in political offices. Interns visit top legislators in an intense lobbying trip, attend community events, participate in leadership development workshops, and various other activities. |
| IDEA Cultural Exchange | Usually in August | Held at National Taiwan University, for one week, students from around the world are given a chance to know more about Taiwan and exchange different cultures with each other |
| UCSD PRIME | Usually in February | Allow student to do summer research at Pacific RIM countries, including Taiwan |
| American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) | Check website | The purpose of the program is to provide college students of economics, business administration and related fields with “hands-on” experience in Taiwan. Interns must be U.S. citizens and currently enrolled students. |
| Job for Next Media Animation | Send email | The applicant must be a college graduate. He or she can be Taiwanese or Taiwanese-American but must have excellent English language skills, particularly in reading and writing. A good handle on Mandarin. No experience is necessary.
